Deferral request - CAO Applicants
Please use this form to request a deferral. Ensure you have
read and understandthe
Deferral Protocol before completing the form.
We use a contact form so that we can capture all of the pertinent details required to consider your deferral request. If we need any additional information we will be in contact using the email you provide.
Please note that it is not always possible to defer entry. To ensure adequate places for next year’s applicants, there is a limit on the number of deferrals which can be granted in any course. In any given round, if the number of deferral requests exceeds the number of places allocated for deferral in the relevant course/cohort, deferrals will be prioritised:
1. Firstly, for those whose grounds for deferral is a force majeure
2. And thereafter in the order in which the requests were received
The closing date for deferral requests is no later than 5pm on the day before the CAO reply date. We aim to let applicants know the decision on their request at least 1 hour before the time CAO acceptances close.
Deferrals are notpermitted in Veterinary Medicine Graduate entry (DN301).
