Dr Giulia Dalla Serra

Resident in Diagnostic Imaging (ECVDI)

In 2014, she graduated from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Bologna, Italy. After graduation, she completed both a rotating internship and a specialist internship in diagnostic imaging at two private practices in Rome, where she subsequently worked until 2018, focusing primarily on emergency medicine and diagnostic imaging. During this period, she also earned a Master’s Degree in Diagnostic Imaging of Small Animals from the University of Teramo, which she completed in 2018.

From 2018 to 2019, she undertook a second specialist internship in diagnostic imaging at the San Marco Veterinary Clinic in Padova, where she subsequently joined the imaging team as a full-time clinician for almost three years, developing a particular interest in MRI.

In July 2022, she began the ECVDI residency and DVMS program in Small Animal Imaging at the UCD Veterinary Hospital in Dublin. Her current research focuses on metal artefacts in computed tomography (CT).
