CDIC-TCPEP Lecture Series brings together leading academics and practitioners to explore critical issues at the intersection of urban planning, development, and transport.

UCD contributed to an event in Beijing hosted by the Taoiseach, Micheál Martin, during his official 2026 visit to China. The event showcased Ireland’s Transnational Education (TNE) successes with strategic Chinese partners. Among the partnerships showcased were UCD’s 3 joint colleges in China.

Seminar on Research Collaboration between CHU and UCD

A two-day research seminar took place from 30 November to 1 December 2025 at the Chang’an Dublin International College of Transportation in Xi’an. The aim was to bring together staff from Chang’an University and UCD and see where our research interests overlap, especially in the areas of smart transport, infrastructure and emerging intelligent systems.
