CDIC Delegation Visit

Lin Guibao and Meng De'an from School of Automobile, Jia Libo from School of Highway Engineering, Zhang Yanping and Cui Lu from Chang'an Dublin International Office commenced their visit with a discussion with the UCD China Joint Colleges Office, focusing on student development within Sino-foreign joint education programmes. This was followed by a meeting with Mr. Hugo O'Donnell, who oversees the UCD iSA summer programme, to explore opportunities for CDIC students to participate in future summer camp initiatives.

Later in the morning, meetings were held with Professor Vincent Hargaden, Dr William Smith and UCD/CDIC teachers: Dr Jufan Zhang, Dr Xuihui Wang and Dr Muhammad Sajid to review curriculum design for the Automotive Engineering at CDIC and conduct a visit to the UCD Mechanical Engineering laboratories.

A networking lunch with the UCD School of Mechanical and Materials Engineering further supported collaborative conversations.
