International Society for Quality in Healthcare Conference 2017

Prof Eilish McAuliffe presented on Collective Leadership and Safety Cultures: Developing an alternative model of leadership for healthcare teams at the International Society for Quality in Healthcare (ISQua) Conference on 'Learning at the System Level to Improve Healthcare Quality and Safety' in London on 1st-4th October 2017.

A Co-Lead poster on Developing a meaningful picture of safety performance at the hospital directorate level was also displayed at this conference.

About Us

Collective Leadership and Safety Cultures (Co-Lead) is a 5-year programme in UCD that is researching the impact of an emerging model of leadership (collective leadership) on team performance and healthcare safety.

We are designing and implementing collective leadership interventions for different team types and testing the impact of these interventions on staff performance and patient safety.
