Compare V Latest Import
This form enables the user to compare a particular plan against the Latest Import. Differences are highlighted. The user has the option (rule to be made available) to copy a row from the Latest Import into their Working Plan.
Choosing the Plan to compare against the Latest Import
The plan for comparison may be selected by the user and is stored in a variable called SPComparison1.
When the SPComparison1 variable is clicked, the user may choose from relevant versions. The set of versions currently available are shown below.
Comparing Data
Key accounts are displayed for the two plans [ie the Latest Import and the Version selected by the user as SPComparison1]. Blue boxes indicate these pairings in the screenshot below. The Version selected by the user is shown first [scenario is Submission] and the LatestImport shown next - indicated with red boxes in the screenshot below. The Latest Import data is shown for the particular period in which it was imported (Jan in the screenshot below) and the plan selected by the user will always show data as being stored in the BegBalance period.
The LatestImport columns are shaded. Blue-Green is used where the value matches the column for the other plan; Green indicates where the values differ.
Where the 3 Dimensions (Person, Payscale & Point, Cost Centre) match, then the data is displayed on a single row. Where the 3 Dimensions do not match (e.g. if the payscale or point is different), then the data will be on different rows and therefore all of the LatestColumns for that row will be shaded green.
