UCD and Australian National University sign Fellowship Agreement

On the 29th October last, University College Dublin (UCD) and the Australian National University (ANU) signed a Fellowship Grant Agreement. This new agreement will facilitate collaboration between researchers in Australian Studies at ANU and UCD, by enabling researchers to spend time (up to six months) at the partner institution. UCD has a long-standing Australian Studies Centre (ASC) and ANU has recently established the Australian Studies Institute (ASI), with an emphasis on ‘Australia in the World’. This collaboration will strengthen Australian Studies in UCD and promote the thematic focus of the ASI.

The agreement was signed at UCD’s Belfield campus by Professor Sally Wheeler, ANU, Pro-Vice Chancellor (International Strategy) and Professor Dolores O’Riordan, UCD Vice-President for Global Engagement. Also in attendance was Professor Shirley Leitch, Professional Research Fellow at the Australian Studies Institute.ANU is a trusted student mobility partner of UCD.
