About Erasmus+

Erasmus+ is the EU's programme to support education, training, youth and sport in Europe. Its budget of €14.7 billion has provided opportunities for over 4 million Europeans to study, train, and gain experience abroad from 2014 to 2020. In additional to student and staff mobility, Erasmus+ provides a variety of funding opportunities for organisations in Europe and the rest of the world. These programmes include but are now limited to Strategic Partnerships, Capacity Building Programmes, Knowledge Alliances, Erasmus Mundus Joint Degree Programmes and Jean Monnet Activities.

From 2014 to 2020, UCD has participated in at least 40 Erasmus+ projects worth over €38 million in funding.
