Student Life and Experience provides opportunities for everyone in the UCD community to be active and engaged within their surrounding communities. We facilitate engagement opportunities for UCD students that encourage extra-curricular and co-curricular learning experiences and that enrich the communities in UCD, in Dublin and beyond.

Student Life

University College Dublin (UCD) is Ireland’s global university, with a student population of 34,000. It is the destination of choice among international students who come to Ireland, with 8,500 overseas students registered from more than 130 countries. Students attending our diverse and cosmopolitan campus have many options for engaging in extra-curricular activities and student life.

The support UCD provides for students goes far beyond academia. UCD support services work across campus to ensure that students receive the necessary help and guidance, ensuring that they have the best possible university experience.
