11:00–12:00: Building an Effective Trusts and Foundations Function

Key topics include: aligning fundraising priorities with institutional strategy and research excellence; developing segmented pipelines and relationship-focused approaches (over transactional interactions); leveraging internal assets, including senior leadership and academic champions; developing a T&F strategy, and establishing operational frameworks that support both quick wins and transformational multi-year investments.
