Research Framework

Supporting the objective of developing Research graduates with the skills necessary to develop and manage their careers across a broad range of employment sectors including academia, UCD provides structured support for students consistent with the National Framework for Doctoral Education and the IUA PhD Graduate Skills Statement. This structured support incorporates research and generic skills development opportunities, empowering students to make a significant impact in their chosen career and contribute to Ireland’s social, cultural and economic development. This support will also aid students in the successful completion of their studies.
