U21 RISE Award Winners Announced

Congratulations to all the winners of the Universitas 21 RISE (Real Impact on Society and Environment) awards!

We are especially proud to celebrate our own UCD PhD student, Michael Connelly, from the School of Mechanical and Material Engineering. Michael received an award for the most innovative project with his work (opens in a new window)Appendable Drag Reduction Methods & Devices for Road Vehicles.

The RISE awards are a U21 international showcase that celebrates student achievements in sustainability and social innovation, connecting participants with a global network of experts to help scale their projects' impact.
