Menopause

As part of the "4Women" Women's Health webinar series organised by Healthy UCD and UCD Culture & Engagement, Dr Deirdre Lundy gave a talk on the menopause. Dr Lundy specialises in women’s health and is an expert in menopause care and HRT prescribing and advises GPs through Ireland about the menopause. At any one time there are some 600,000 women in the age group that typically goes through the menopause in Ireland but it is a topic that is not widely spoken about.

Dr Lundy leads the recently opened Menopause Clinic based in the National Maternity Hospital, a UCD-affiliated hospital. You can find out more about this service(opens in a new window) at this link.
