The School congratulates Roy Flechner on receiving a Research Ally Award for Postdoctoral Mentoring
The School is delighted to announce that Dr Roy Flechner was awarded an Irish Research Council 'Research Ally Prize' 2022 in recognition of his contribution to postdoctoral mentoring. Dr Flechner researches late antique and early medieval European history. He has mentored postdoctoral research projects on intellectual history, medieval manuscripts, and mobility in the early Middle Ages. His two most recent postdocs have been offered permanent academic posts at the universities of Göttingen and Glasgow.
