Dr Steffen Rimner Discusses New Book

UCD School of History's Dr Steffen Rimner discusses his new book entitled Opium's Long Shadow: From Asian Revolt to Global Drug Control (Harvard University Press, 2018) in a series of interviews and podcasts that can be accessed below.

Steffen Rimner is Assistant Professor in the History of International Affairs and Ad Astra Fellow and joined UCD in 2020. His teaching and research focuses on the Asia Pacific region and its global connections from the mid-nineteenth century to the present, with special interests in East Asian transnationalism and international regimes.
