Welcome back to campus: Information for students

Dear all,

We are delighted to welcome you back to campus and to the School of History. As you will know from information circulated by the University, all modules offered by the School of History will take place face-to-face on campus.

We ask that you abide by university regulations and the student code, both in relation to your presence on campus and your engagement with peers and staff in classes. As we continue to deal with the effects of the global pandemic, faculty may, at short notice, be unable to attend campus for health reasons. In this case, sessions may have to be cancelled, moved online or alternative arrangements may be made. We will endeavour to inform you of any changed arrangements as soon as possible via email or via brightspace. Please check emails regularly, and before attending campus on a teaching day.

Most importantly, we look forward to meeting you in seminars and lectures shortly, and to the start of what promises to be an exciting semester! If you have any questions or concerns, in the first instance please contact history@ucd.ie.

In addition to first and second year orientation meetings, we will also be hosting regular ‘Ask us anything’ sessions, open to all students, at various points in the semester. If you have a question about anything concerning History modules, the School of History, or need some friendly advice, please feel free to drop in to any of the sessions below:
