JSPS London Seminar for postgraduate students and early-career researchers in the British Isles

Assoc. Prof. Nao Kodate was invited to take part in a career seminar for (Japanese-origin) early-career researchers based in UK and Irish universities and research institutes. Together with three panellists (Prof. Chiaki Kobayashi, Astrophysics, University of Hertfordshire; Assoc. Prof. Hiroki Shin, History, University of Birmingham; Dr Takashi Ochi, Biological Sciences, University of Leeds), Dr Kodate spoke about his research and shared his own experience at various institutions he worked at, including UCD. Just as in 2019, when Dr Kodate served as a panellist at a similar event, he was the only academic from the isle of Ireland.
