UCD has an international reputation as a Centre of Excellence in the domain of psychotherapy. The School offers an extensive portfolio of graduate opportunities at Diploma, Masters and Doctoral level in each of the main recognised branches of psychotherapy. All lecturers on the course are clinicians with considerable academic expertise in their own modality of psychotherapy.
Our extensive clinical faculty is based at Mater Misericordiae University Hospital, St Vincent’s University Hospital and at the Lucena Clinic (Hospitaller Order of St John of God). Doctoral studies opportunities also exist in all key psychotherapy modalities and our experienced teaching faculty includes many research-active clinicians and clinical scientists.
