The execution of such processes remains the remit of the constituent Intern Training Networks and, as signatories of the Service Level Agreement (SLA), their respective Universities.

The Executive collaborates with and reports to the Medical Council on intern education programme content and intern assessment. This includes developing, with the Council’s support, qualitative and quantitative output and outcomes measurements that will provide reliable programme evaluation.
