Prof James Smyth (Virginia Tech University) will present on his research on Tues 17 Sept 19 at 12pm in the UCD Conway Lecture Theatre. prof smyth's presentation is entitled 'found in translation; rna impacts intercellular communication to elicit distinct pathologies from cancer to cardiac disease'. A UCD Microbiology graduate, Prof Smyth has moved into ion channel trafficking research during his career with research now applied to solve real life problems in cardiology and cancer biology research.
