COVID-19 & Mental Health Summer School

Management Approaches for ADHD During the Covid-19 Virus Pandemic


The aim of the Summer School is to provide UpToDate emerging knowledge and guidance on key issues arising from the current pandemic relating to psychological distress, mental health, psychiatric morbidity and service provision.

Format: Webinar

Each webinar is a standalone event.  Participants can register to attend any number of webinars.

Note: This webinar will be recorded and uploaded to our website for future reference.

Duration: 1 hour weekly

The first webinar in the UCD Academic Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Summer School is scheduled for Friday 22nd May 2020 at 12:30pm.

The speaker will be Prof Samuele Cortese, Professor of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the University of Southampton and Honorary Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist, Solent NHS Trust, UK.  Prof Cortese is lead author of the ‘European Guidelines for the Management of ADHD in the Pandemic’, recently published in the Lancet.  He is Deputy Editor of both the Journal of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (JAACAP) and Evidence-based Mental Health (EBMH).
