Marie Sklodowska-Curie Actions COFUND Programme
TOPMed10 is a fellowship programme for 10 postdocs in the area of Personalised Medicine in a broad sense including basic, translational, clinical as well as experimental and computational research. It is open to all UCD researchers including Systems Biology Ireland, Charles Institute, Clinical Research Centres, the Conway Institute, UCD School of Biomolecular and Biomedical Science and UCD School of Medicine and Medical Science. The programme's main intention is to promote collaborations across the Conway, Charles, SBI, UCD CRC and the Schools, and to form the nucleus of an interdisciplinary research centre for personalized medicine in UCD.
- TOPMed10 is a COFUND Programme, i.e. the EU funds 42% and the PI needs to contribute 58% of the funds. This contribution can come from every type of funding that does not have an EU component, e.g. SFI, HRB, Wellcome Trust, Industry, Philanthropy etc.
- We already have secured the EU funding, i.e. the competition is purely internal.
A meeting for interested PIs will be held w/c 29th June to get input on the roll out of the programme (first call opens 1st October 2015) as well as to discuss the thematics – please contact Will Fitzmaurice (firstname.lastname@example.org) if you are interested in attending or would like any further information.
