Starting out on your college journey, you may feel both excited and perhaps a bit overwhelmed. Our network of Peer Mentors is here to help you settle into college life. They are experienced senior year students from within your academic programme who can provide valuable advice, insights and practical tips and also help you make connections and friendships with other students.

You will meet your Peer Mentor and a group of other new students either prior to or during Orientation. Feel free to approach your Peer Mentor with any college-related queries, whether they relate to navigating academic challenges, uncovering social avenues, or seeking personal support. They can also introduce you to the various clubs and societies you can join and direct you to the support services available in UCD to help you have a successful and enjoyable college experience. They will stay in touch with you throughout the first trimester ensuring you have ongoing guidance and a friendly face to rely on.
