A group of final year Quinn School students have competed at teh International Case Study Competition held at BI Norwegian Business School.

Generously supported by KPMG, the competition is a business consultancy simulation held among twelve of the top international business schools. Over 32 hours the students had to identify core strategic choice and solutions, with thorough supporting arguments, enabling the growth of a real life organisation. The Norwegian company Hydro, a leading worldwide supplier of alumina and aluminium products, was this organisation.

UCD was represented by final year students Aoife Kelly, Michael Irving, Aoife McAdam and Richard McDonagh (pictured here with their host Marcus Kelley). They spent three days networking with comepting team and seeing the sites of Oslo before presenting their report to a panel of judges from Hydor and industry partners. While they didn't make the final, the team's presentation was a highly commended strategy for Hydro in a competition won by the University of Belgrade.
