The Summer Internship Programme has been a key element of summer time in the UCD Lochlann Quinn School of Business since the early 2000's. Consisting of a two-week academic programme combined with a six-week internship placement based in Dublin, we are looking forward to welcoming students back onto this programme for Summer 2023.
Today’s global economy demands graduates with a global perspective. Our Summer Internship Programme for international students enables students to develop practical professional skills and fine-tune their communication skills within a business environment. Part of the thrill of an internship abroad will be discovering the cultural differences that lie between you and your co-workers, and how you relate to each other. This programme is open to undergraduate students of business or business related academic disciplines.

An essential element of the UCD Summer Internship is for students to experience Irish society and culture. This series of excursions is funded and coordinated by the Lochlann Quinn School of Business to enable you to explore and immerse yourself in Irish culture. Attendance at the trips is at your discretion. However, you are encouraged to sign up for the excursions and field trips in Dublin and around Ireland. This will provide you with firsthand experience of the historic and cultural sites that surround you.
