Congratulations to final year Commerce and Commerce International students Shane Walsh, Mark Haran, Michael Lynch and Joe Carmody who were placed 1st in the recent Irish Tax Institute Fantasy Budget 2023 Competition.

A wonderful achievement competing with all third level institutions in Ireland. In their outstanding submission, the team critically analysed a number of measures announced in Budget 2023 and proposed a new congestion charge measure which would help Ireland to achieve its net zero goals, generate income and reduce traffic.
