By agreeing to be employed as a UCD Assessment invigilator, you agree to:

Abide by the UCD Assessment Invigilator Code of Conduct and to familiarise yourself with UCD’s Exam Regulations and the UCD Dignity and Respect policies.

By agreeing to be employed as a UCD Assessment invigilator, you also agree to the terms outlined in the UCD Assessment Invigilator Privacy Statement. This explains how your personal data is collected, stored, and used in line with data protection legislation.

Agree to the UCD Assessment Confidentiality Clause:
Confidential Information includes all documents, materials, and other information disclosed to or obtained by you during your employment with UCD, or to which you have access (whether oral, written, electronic, or in any other form). This includes, but is not limited to, exam materials (such as exam question papers and exam booklets) and any exam-related incidents involving individual students or otherwise that occur during exams.

By accepting this role, you acknowledge that the university is committed to maintaining confidentiality in certain aspects of its work. It is your duty to observe confidentiality regarding all Confidential Information you encounter during your employment within Assessment, UCD Registry.

You agree to keep all Confidential Information strictly confidential and not disclose it to any third party for any reason. Regarding personal data, you are bound by the policies and procedures adopted by the university under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. You must either provide proof of completed data protection training or agree to complete UCD's online ‘Data Privacy & Security’ training on Brightspace.

You also agree to comply fully with the UCD Dignity and Respect policy. It is your responsibility to inform UCD Assessment of any potential conflicts of interest, including but not limited to family members or friends taking exams, or any involvement with modules under assessment.

Agree to the UCD Assessment Statement:
UCD reserves the right to dismiss you at any time without notice or payment in lieu of notice if you have provided false information on your application form, do not meet the eligible requirements to work as an invigilator, or if UCD Assessment is not satisfied with your work, performance, or behaviour in the role.
