Assessment is responsible for the management of the University’s grading, assessment and examination operations; the
development of assessment-related policy; student academic history management in Banner; and the provision of advice
and support to students and staff in relation to relevant policy and regulations. The unit is also responsible for supporting
the Academic Council Committee on Examinations (ACCE).

Confirmed 2020 2021 End of Spring Trimester Online Assessments Timetable
The end of Trimester Online Assessment Timetable for the Spring 20/21 trimester will be published on 8 April 2021. A block of time (normally a minimum of 3 hours) is assigned in the timetable. Exams must start and finish within the three-hour slot, taking into consideration any alternative arrangements. Each academic is responsible for communicating exact arrangements of the exams to their students.
Invigilation:
The recruitment process for Invigilators is suspended as UCD examinations are taking place online. Please check our website in Autumn Trimester 20/21 for further updates and information.
