Research Culture Interviews
Following the 2025 Research Culture Survey, our team will conduct semi-structured interviews with members of the research community to gather their in-depth experiences and perceptions of research culture in the university. Interviews will invite a representative sample of the research community and will be conducted in person, by phone or via a secure virtual platform depending on the preference of the interviewee.
Building on previous findings from Research Culture Surveys conducted in 2021 and 2023 and engagement with cohorts through focus groups conducted in 2022 and 2024, these individual Interviews will serve to validate survey findings and further examine specific topics that include current research culture, career progression, wellbeing, inclusion, engagement, autonomy, community experience, research culture enablers and barriers.
