The complexity of evaluating student learning when AI tools are readily available requires thoughtful, programme-level strategies to the assessment that go beyond individual module responses.
This 90-minute session focuses on using some key principles in the established UCD Framework for Programme Assessment and Feedback Strategies to provide those leading programme enhancement changes (i.e. programme directors and, heads of school, Deans, VPT&L, School Heads of T&L..) with practical frameworks for developing coherent assessment strategies. In particular, it focuses on programme assessment approaches that a) support a more ‘integrated’ developmental approach to GenAI, b) allow ‘space’ for more dialogue and critique of it, and c) consider more authentic approaches to assessment in the programme. The workshop combines facilitated guidance with peer networking opportunities, enabling participants to share challenges and solutions across disciplines.
The Audience for this workshop is Programme directors, Heads of school, Deans, VPTLs, School Heads of Teaching and Learning.
