New paper explores the "interrelationship between woodland history and urban life in Viking Age Ireland"

Congratulations to Dr Eileen Reilly and Dr Lorna O'Donnell, recent IRC Postdoctoral Research Fellows at UCD School of Archaeology, and also our colleagues Susan Lyons, Ellen O'Carroll (a UCD Archaeology graduate), Ingelise Stuijts and Adrienne Corliss, on their fascinating paper "Building the Towns: The Interrelationship Between Woodland History and Urban Life in Viking Age Ireland" in Broderick et al (eds) Objects, Environment and Everyday Life in Medieval Europe, an outcome of an EAA conference session in Helsinki in 2012.
