SDG Community Dashboard newsletter
Community SDG Dashboard: Measuring Sustainable Actions at Community Level is an academic-community partnership between the Dundrum 2030 community group and the UCD Earth Institute researchers. The project fosters social engagement for monitoring local progress towards achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which can feed into national sustainability reporting. It was funded by the Earth Institute's Strategic Priority Support Mechanism last year. A 'have your say' event was held on the 11th of March 2021 with 90 community members attending and sharing their views on what sustainability actions exist and/or should be promoted within the Dundrum area. The project has been progressing with the creation of a digital interactive map and community-led identification of priority areas for monitoring sustainability at the local level.
