Expanding Ireland's Marine Protected Area Network
For World Ocean Day 2021, UCD Earth Institute Director, Professor Tasman Crowe spoke with Clean Coasts about ‘Expanding Ireland’s Marine Protected Area Network.' During this discussion, Prof. Crowe provided an of explanation marine protected areas, their benefits, and how we all can get involved in protecting the environment.
In Ireland, we currently have the opportunity to indicate which areas of our ocean and seas we deem most important to be protected.
