Student Support
STUDENT SUPPORT FUND
Faculty and staff within the College of Engineering & Architecture are deeply committed to ensuring equality of access and opportunity for our students. As such, a College-level Support Fund has been developed to make it easy for alumni and friends of UCD to support our students. College Support Funds seek to enhance the educational experience of UCD students and to ensure greater equality of access to opportunities. These funds are allocated towards needs-based financial support, bursaries for experiential learning (e.g. internships, travel abroad or volunteer opportunities), funding for equipment or capital projects (e.g. equipment for labs or small capital), merit-based awards for post-graduate study, and other activities that enhance students’ experience. RÉALTA MASTER IN ENGINEERING SCHOLARSHIPS
Many students must overcome considerable challenges and hardships in order to reach their full potential. They need support to be able to participate fully in university life and gain access to life-changing educational opportunities, on an equal footing with their peers.
The Réalta Master in Engineering Scholarships provide funding for the fifth year of a Master of Engineering degree programme. The purpose of this award is to encourage UCD Engineering undergraduate students, who might be uncertain about their ability to fund the fifth, fee-paying year, to progress into and complete the ME programme.
The value of the Réalta Master in Engineering Scholarship is €9,500 per individual for one year, covering ME programme tuition fees. Named Réalta Master in Engineering Scholarships can also include bursaries to cover living and accommodation costs.
