The UCD Engineering Graduates Association (EGA) are delighted this year to welcome a panel of experts to discuss the Future of Construction Innovation in Ireland. Registration is required in advance to attend this in-person event in UCD on Wednesday 01 May 2024.
This year they will be combining the previously named 'Gold Medal & Award Ceremony' with the 'Distinguished Graduate Award Ceremony', in order to form the new 'EGA Award Ceremony' which will take place on Wednesday 25 October 2023 at 18:00 (Irish Standard Time) on campus at University College Dublin.
Don't miss the EGA Spring Lecture on Thursday 30 March 2023 at 6pm. We will be joined by members of the EIRSAT-1 Team who will talk about Ireland's first satellite which represents a significant milestone in the country's adventures in space. Attendees will be able to engage in a Q&A session with members of the team. This be a hybrid event with attendees being able to join remotely (via Zoom) or in-person on UCD Campus. The EGA President was delighted to host a luncheon in the University Club on Wednesday, 16 November 2022, to acknowledge the awarding of the 2021 Distinguished Graduate Award to Ciaran Connell & Michael McLaughlin - Decawave Co-Founders - in recognition of their significant and sustained contributions to Irish society and the Engineering Profession. This event was originally intended to take place as a Ceremony back in 2021 but was postponed due to Covid-19 restrictions in place.
