EGA Award Ceremony 2025

The 2025 UCD Engineering Graduates Association (EGA) Award Ceremony will take place on Wednesday, November 5th at University College Dublin. The event will celebrate top engineering graduates and current student awardees, and will also honour Brendan O'Callaghan of Sanofi and Sósanna Ní Dhubháin of Aston Martin F1 for their outstanding contributions to engineering.

On Wednesday 25 October, the UCD Engineering Graduates Association (EGA) were joined by a panel of experts at University College Dublin to cover topical issues surrounding Engineering Ethics and the future of AI.

Both (opens in a new window)Sean Lang, Data Science Lead at Altair and (opens in a new window)Aidan Connolly, CEO of Idiro Analytics gave informative and thought provoking presentations followed by a Q&A session led by (opens in a new window)Dr Richard Manton, Registrar of Engineers Ireland (MC for the event). The event ended with a Q&A session gave our audience members a great chance to engage with our panelists about the applications of AI in both our lives and the profession of engineering.

The UCD Engineering Graduates Association were delighted to hold the EGA Award Ceremony on Wednesday 25 October at 18:00pm (Irish Standard Time). The proceedings took place on campus at University College Dublin. The EGA would like to congratulate all of this year's medal and award recipients and thank the generous sponsors who support this event by rewarding the academic excellence of our students.
