Analog Devices Ireland Award Presentations

Three high-achieving students in Electronic and Computer Engineering were presented with awards of €2,000 each at a presentation ceremony in the School on Wednesday 27th April.  These new awards were instituted by (opens in a new window)Analog Devices Ireland (ADI) to encourage and celebrate academic excellence in degree programmes related to Electronic and Computer Engineering. The presentations were made by Mike Keaveney, Engineering Director & Analog Devices Fellow, accompanied by Fiona Donlon of the HR Department at ADI. The details of the awards and the awardees are as follows:

  • 3rd Year continuing to BE (Electronic Engineering) or ME (Electronic & Computer Engineering) – top 3 results – interviewed by ADI – one student selected - €2000 to one student [2015/16 Winner: Cormac O'Meadhra]
  • 4th Year ME (Electronic & Computer Engineering) – top 3 results – interviewed by ADI – one student selected - €2000 to one student [2015/16 Winner: Brian Attride]
  • 5th Year ME (Electronic & Computer Engineering)– Best overall final result – no interview - €2000 to one student [2015 Winner: Ronan Scally]

The School warmly congratulates the recipients of these awards and expresses its deep appreciation to ADI for their generosity in sponsoring these highly significant awards.
