The annual National Parkinson’s disease and Other Movement Disorders meeting takes place at the Mater hospital on Friday October 31st. This is an excellent teaching and scientific meeting for medics, nurses, HSCPs and neuroscientists. Prof Alberto Aspay, a world leader in neurology, will speak but also partake in Grand Rounds (two patients attend) and interactive video sessions of complex neurology and movement disorders. It’s an excellent academic meeting with wonderful teaching about how to approach, diagnose and treat neurological problems. I encourage those with an interest in Parkinson’s disease and other movement disorders to attend.
