Gaeltacht UCD works with other universities in Ireland and abroad. It has a special relationship with the Gaelic speaking community in Scotland. The first exchange between the Teach na Gaeilge UCD students and Taigh na Gàidhlig, University of Glasgow started in 2012 and the language and culture of Ireland and Scotland have been shared since. This successful exchange programme has continued with the support of the agency Colmcille.
