Gaeltacht UCD and UCD UNA Europa 

Gaeltacht UCD is an active member of UNA Europa, an alliance of 11 leading European
research Universities, and is represented in the Working Group for Directors of Language
Centers along with UCD’s (opens in a new window)partner universities 

Home to 10 European languages – with many more spoken by the 500,000 students and 100,000 staff within the alliance, Gaeltacht UCD is ‘at home’ in this multilingual environment. Recent involvement includes Irish language lessons offered online for European Day of Languages and attendance at in UNA Europa Autumn Assembly, Bologna, Italy 2024: ‘’The Transformative Power of International Relations’’.

The Centre is excited to be involved in the development of an online Tandem Tool for language learners, an initiative lead by UNA Europa partner (opens in a new window)KU (opens in a new window)Leuven
