The University is committed to looking after the health, well-being and academic progress of our students. The overriding principle is that we will continue to be led by Public Health recommendations to minimise the opportunity for COVID-19 to spread, therefore maximising your safety and the safety of the whole University community.
Now, as we begin the Spring trimester, teaching will commence as planned and the approved timetable will apply. Lectures, tutorials, practicals, and other classes will take place according to the published timetable and location. For updates on advice and guidance please refer to the COVID-19 FAQ pages. The Government protocols are changing to reflect the changing epidemiological pattern of COVID-19 in Ireland. Consequently, we ask that you follow the prevailing rules in terms of self-isolation or restricted movement if you test positive or are a close contact.
