UCD School of Medicine alumna Dr Elaine Lockhart awarded prestigious President's Medal by The Royal College of Psychiatrists

Congratulations to UCD School of Medicine graduate Dr Elaine Lockhart who was awarded a prestigious President's Medal by The Royal College of Psychiatrists in recognition of her exceptional contributions to the field of psychiatry.

Dr Lockhart is a distinguished psychiatrist who has dedicated her career to improving child and adolescent mental health services (CAMHS). Having studied medicine at UCD, she completed her psychiatric training in the West of Scotland, going on to spend more than two decades as a consultant in paediatric liaison psychiatry at the Royal Hospital for Children in Glasgow.

She has advised the Scottish Government on CAMHS policy and holds an honorary senior lectureship at the University of Glasgow, helping to train the next generation of clinicians.
