SBI and UCD are excited to partner with the NDRC, one of Europe’s leading accelerator programmes, to launch FutureHealth. This new eight-week pre-accelerator programme starting in February 2015 has been created to focus exclusively on the support of early stage healthtech ventures.

FutureHealth is looking for individuals and teams who will impact, disrupt and solve global health challenges by bringing innovative new products and services to biotech and healthcare markets. The programme will enable clinicians, researchers and entrepreneurs to come together, form teams and build a commercial proposition and a convincing investment case.

Through the programme, the successful startup ideas will get:

  • Unrivalled access to leading mentors from the health sciences, seasoned technology entrepreneurs and the investment community
  • A proven process within which to test their ideas
  • The time and space to meet and work with their potential future teams

10 places are being offered with applications now open until 15th January. Interested individuals or teams should visit www.ndrc.ie/futurehealth for more information.

Sponsors include EY and Enterprise Ireland, key movers with strategic interests in the healthtech space, with NDRC and UCD combining to provide both the enterprise know-how and clinical expertise necessary to develop a commercial proposition. NDRC has unrivalled experience in the healthtech space having worked with and invested in over 20 healthcare ventures including SilverCloud Health, PharmaPod, Clearsight Innovation and MuteButton.
