On April 1, 2019, the new Systems Biology Website officially went live. The project was over a year in the making and integrated ideas and collaborations from all corners of SBI.

"We really wanted to bring the unique aspects of our research to the forefront," said SBI Director Prof. Walter Kolch. "We feel SBI is quite a special mix of multidisciplinary sciences, combining computational and clinical methods together to answer the tough questions we daily face in cancer research."

In addition to a general overhaul of updated projects, people and published work, the website aims to be intuitive and informative to a variety of audiences. For instance, an entirely new "Jobs" section has been added to the main topic areas, hoping to draw new faces into the SBI community. "Blogs" will also continue to feature as a regular part of the website.

"We're excited to bring more fascinating content to the public from our very diverse group of researchers, and we plan to do a lot of that using the blogging platform," said Dr. Jessica Ralston, Centre Manager. "We hope this will facilitate keeping the public informed in recent activities within SBI."
