UCD Cothrom na Féinne
Access Courses - Incoming Students

Cothrom na Féinne Scholars demonstrate clear motivation to pursue higher education, despite education barriers faced, and act as leaders in Access & Lifelong Learning.

If you are registered as unemployed and /or in receipt of one of the following payments: Job-seekers Benefit, Job-seekers Allowance, Disability Allowance, Illness Benefit, or One-Parent Family Allowance you may qualify for the Scholarship. If you qualify for the Scholarship, your fee will be reduced or waived (in the instance of refugees, asylum seekers and those with leave to remain - see information about the UCD Sanctuary Scholarship).

You will need to provide evidence of income with your application.

For Access to Arts, Humanities, Social Sciences and Law (AHSSL) in 2023-24 the fee was reduced from €850 to €425.

For Access to Science, Engineering, Agricultural Science and Medicine (SEAM) in 2023-24 the fee was reduced from €1,800 to €600

Applying

  • Protection applicants, Refugee/Asylum Seekers/Leave to Remain - apply for the Sanctuary Scholarship Programme
  • All other Applicants: 2024-25 Scholarship Applications will open in late Aug/Early Sept - Date TBC.
