UCD Cothrom na Féinne
Access Courses - Incoming Students

Each year, UCD awards Cothrom na Féinne Scholarships to students from low-income households, students with physical or sensory disabilities, students from the Traveller Community, and those with Refugee, Asylum Seeker, Leave to Remain status.

Cothrom na Féinne Scholars demonstrate clear motivation to pursue higher education, despite education barriers faced, and act as leaders in Access & Lifelong Learning.

If you are registered as unemployed and /or in receipt of one of the following payments: Job-seekers Benefit, Job-seekers Allowance, Disability Allowance, Illness Benefit, or One-Parent Family Allowance you may qualify for the Scholarship. If you qualify for the Scholarship, your fee will be reduced or waived (in the instance of refugees, asylum seekers and those with leave to remain).

You will need to provide evidence of income with your application.

For Access to Arts, Humanities, Social Sciences and Law (AHSSL) your fee will be reduced from €850 to €425

For Access to Science, Engineering, Agricultural Science and Medicine (SEAM) your fee will be reduced from €1,800 to €600
