CEPL05 - Ethics in Business for the Financial Sector

In light of the requirements upon persons working in the financial services sector to comply with the Standards for Fitness and Probity as set out in the Central Bank’s Minimum Competency Code 2011, the Centre for Ethics has designed an ethics programme specifically tailored to the needs of the financial services industry. Some of the issues raised in this programme include: honesty in business practices, the ethical principles of consumer protection, the ethics of risk-taking and issues surrounding transactions and transparency.

Benefits

This programme raises many central issues that will be of interest to anyone with an interest in ethics in business more generally and is open to all. However it is designed with the needs of those in the financial services sector more specifically. The Centre for Ethics can design this programme to suit the needs of particular sectors or companies.
