Professor Stefan Oscarson's Final Lecture
On Thursday 25th of April Prof. Stefan Oscarson gave his last lecture before his upcoming retirement in July 2024.
His colleagues in the School of Chemistry surprised him by arriving unannounced just before he started the lecture and Head of School, James Sullivan said a few words about Stefan's long and distinguished career. To read about Stefan's research and publications click (opens in a new window)here.
The Stage 3 class presented Stefan with a 'Carbohydrate Chemistry' cake and the School supplied donuts for the occasion. We all wish Stefan well for his upcoming retirement.
