Combined cyber and physical threats to critical infrastructure
Daniel's presentation covers current interdisciplinary research on combined cyber and physical threats to transportation infrastructure. A new risk framework and classification of vulnerabilities within cyber and physical attacks is being developed. The talk also introduces a recently funded H2020 project, called PRECINCT, on the interdependencies between cyber and physical threats to critical infrastructure. PRECINCT will develop an ecosystem that will help critical infrastructure owners/operators to understand the interdependent and cascading threats from combined cyber and physical threats, in particular a digital twin will model current and future threat detection in critical infrastructure whilst a novel serious gaming approach to identify unknown threats will be implemented.
