Dr. Karen Keaveney - Grappling with Rural Change from within
UCD Earth Institute are very pleased to welcome Karen Keaveney. Karen is a geographer and spatial planner in the Agribusiness and Rural Development Section of the School of Agriculture and Food Science. Karen is PI for the IRC Coalesce funded project 'Citizen Rural: Digital Data for Participatory Democracy in Remote Places'. Karen's presentation will explore the challenges facing rural communities and outline the place-based responses and opportunities in rural towns and the countryside.
