Ron Callan

Biography

Ron Callan joined the Department of English in UCD in 1995. Before that, he taught at Dickinson College, Carlisle, PA. (1990-92), Trinity College Dublin (1992-94) and University College Cork (1994-95). He was awarded a Fulbright Scholarship and was Visiting Scholar at the University of Massachusetts (Amherst) in 1986 (one semester). He was Chair of the Irish Association for American Studies (1997-2003) and is one of the editors for the Irish Journal of American Studies (1995 to 2007).
